How is the match winner determined?

The team that wins more individual games wins the match. With 4 games, it's possible to go 2-2, which triggers the Tiebreaker (Sudden Death) game. The Tiebreaker winner takes the match.

How does the Sudden Death Tiebreaker work?

One game to 11, win by 2. All 4 players from each team participate. Players rotate sides every 4 points to ensure fairness. The captain sets the rotation order before the game begins.

Can the same player compete in multiple games?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Players can appear in Men's/Women's Doubles AND one Mixed Doubles game. However, the two Mixed Doubles pairs must be different — no player can appear in both Mixed 1 and Mixed 2.

Who decides the lineup?

Accepted Answer

The team Captain sets the lineup for each match. Lineups are submitted through the mobile Captain Portal before the match begins. Once submitted, lineups are locked.

Are game results reported to DUPR?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All game results are submitted to DUPR after each stop. Your DUPR rating updates based on game outcomes, so every match counts for your individual rating.

What are the scoring points for the team standings?

Accepted Answer

Match Win = 3 team points. Match Loss = 1 team point. There are no 0-point results — every team earns at least 1 point for showing up and competing.
